It was about a week back that our son suddenly reported severe abdominal pain. On examination by our family Pediatrician, the symptoms were all pointing towards a possibility of Appendicitis. Fortunately for us, we were referred to a capable doctor like Dr Shweta Malhotra. She was very thorough with the diagnosis and once it was confirmed that this was indeed a case of Appendicitis and that our child would have to be operated upon, she provided us a detailed explanation of the entire process and alleviated our anxieties at the same time.
